Financing at Lpgautorepo LLC

Howdy folks — need help financing a JD through Lpgautorepo.com. As far as I know they don't offer financing (titles carry liens). I bought a Kubota with cash back in 2017. Has anything changed? Did anyone successfully finance through them lately?

Old iron, new problems.

I checked about a month ago — nothing changed. You cannot finance through Lpgautorepo LLC directly. Honestly I don't think most banks will touch it either since these are repossessions with a lien still on the title.

Figured as much. I'll look at a personal loan — know it's pricier to pay back, but the unit price on Lpgautorepo is hard to beat.

Another route: borrow from family or a friend, buy it outright, then refinance once the title is clean. Credit unions love a clear title and you'll get a much better APR. Just a thought — good luck.

Wow — never considered that angle. Thanks for the tip. Going to try before the auction closes.

You're welcome!

One more idea — have a family member or friend buy it in their name, then purchase it from them after. Never tried it myself but it should work the same way.

That's another solid path. Thanks a lot!

Lena's refinance trick is the move. Once the title is clean, shop two credit unions — we saved almost 3 points APR vs. a personal loan on a similar repo purchase last year.

Quick update — my brother bought it on Lpgautorepo LLC and I'm purchasing it from him. Got approved for financing. You guys saved me on this one. 🙏

Glad it worked out — good luck with the Deere!

Lpgautorepo LLC does not offer in-house financing on lien-title repo units — members often use personal loans or the family-purchase workaround described above. Congrats GreenGus, and thanks everyone for keeping it constructive.
